Footprints

My auntie gives Jon and I promotional deals given to her, because she simply does not have the time to use them. This week, we were given tickets to the Hawaiian theatrical performance 'Ulalena. It is a combinination of Cirque Du Soleil and modern dance. Now that's my kind of show!
Right before the show
So we went to the show last night. I thoroughly enjoyed it! I'd say I loved it more than any Luau I've been too, but Luaus include endless food and yummy drinks, hard to compete with that! 'Ulalena is named after the mythical, yet real, red and yellow rain and wind present only in Maui at twilight. The story was about the formation of Maui, the ancient Gods, chiefs, and vast explorers who voyaged to Maui. It was dramatic, very creative, beautiful, colorfulhumorous, child-friendly, and true to Hawaiian history. I greatly reccommend the show to everyone! The instruments were along side the set, which made it so much more interesting and interactive. (Images to the right were grabbed from the 'Ulalena website).

The kittens are now seemingly teenager-looking. Not quiet adult cats, but not fluffy unsure naive little kittens either. Yet I will always call them "kittens." The things and situations they get into just crack us up. They jump, and fall, from new heights in the apartment, a bit scary but kittens are always just fine!

BY THE WAY,

um...

I think I am allergic to the mosquitos here. In the picture on the right, my bite is the size of a dime. Standard here.
The left picture may have been a big spider. Unless the mosquito just could not get enough, he came back for seconds and thirds all in a row...

Another Moments of Bliss Photoshoot

We had a Zumba Party at Valley Isle Fitness. Unfortunately, this gym has the worst management I've ever worked with. Hopefully it will improve a bit with an actual group exercise director in charge to better communicate with the instructors. I was informed that I would be teaching the Zumba party 2 days before the event. Bummer. No time to plan. So basically my normal group came since it was around the time of my normal class. Anywho, a "Zumba Party" refers to free admission for friends and family to the class, multiple instructors, and usually give aways of some sort. Here are a few photos:

We have a few new decor pieces in the apartment!

And I leave you with one of my favorite poems. I'm sure you've heard it:

Footprints
One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints,
other times there were one set of footprints.
This bothered me because I noticed
that during the low periods of my life,
when I was suffering from
anguish, sorrow or defeat,
I could see only one set of footprints.
So I said to the Lord,
“You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you,
you would walk with me always.
But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life
there have only been one set of footprints in the sand.
Why, when I needed you most, you have not been there for me?”
The Lord replied,
“The times when you have seen only one set of footprints in the sand,
is when I carried you.”
