Back in October, during Halloween, I won first place in a costume contest at Hula Grill as a belly dancer, and received 2 tickets to an Alex Air door-less helicopter tour!! We tried to go on the tour for our anniversary in January but they kept postponing it. Finally it happened. And it was amazing!

Sporting the sexy oversized jumpsuit for our Doors-off helicopter tour! |
Getting excited when we see it land |
During liftoff
giddy as a school girl |
We flew across the ocean to our neighbor island Molokai |
Tallest waterfall on Molokai- Papalua Falls |
Second half of Papalua Falls |
As we flew over the water, I saw a few birds eye views of whales!! It was so cool to see how huge they are! |
And flying back to Maui |
The captain took us into the West Maui mountains where it was quite freezing from the mist and altitude. But here is where we saw the most unforgettable sight |
The wall of tears. Hundreds of waterfalls flowing down the mountain side because of all of the rain and moisture!! It was a moment that the camera can't do it justice because of how foggy it was through the lens. It was an experience one had to sit back and enjoy. God's glorious creation |
And then back we flew to the heliport in the business part of Maui. |
As we flew into the heliport, I was it bummed was ending, a little motion sick, a little cold, but none of that matter because it is an experience I'll treasure forever.
