Adventure has been essential to my happiness here in Maui. Jon and I try to go out to see something new or familiar but beautiful just because we need to see something awesome that is bigger than us. It reminds us of God's hand in creation, there's no way it could have all just fell into place with the beauty and emotion that a simply pleasant view provokes. I urge you to find something that helps you feel His presence. That is the foundation of our adventure-seeking lifestyle. To find what all God has created, how it looks, makes us feel, and creates an unforgettable experience.

Waihe'e Ridge Trail |
Popping some bubbley for a successful hike |
Mimosas are a great reward |
And Julia's fresh made Banana Bread from her stand along the dangerous back road from North West Maui to Wailuku |
We were pretty high up |
Remember to soak in the beauty |
Take a beautiful walk to lunch |
Remember the little things that bring joy and smiles. Like midnight ukulele jam sessions and bonfires on the beach
Fishing |
When life is hard, we seek God's presence from a beautiful view |
Remember to enjoy every sunset, and be awe-struck by the colorful ones
Remember to find joy in your senses, like taste
"Love your food, Love your wine" |
Remember that it is okay to find joy in the little things you loved as a child
Like a pumpkin carving contest |
Continue to seek adventure and beauty...
There were lots of goats along the hike to La Perouse Bay |
Jon in the tree above the goat, you can see his foot. Such a fun experience, he was a sneaky one! |
We saw these two males fighting, ramming their horns into each others horns- it was pretty intense! |
He climbed to the top of a lighthouse over the lava rock bay of La Perouse |
And remember to treat yourself once in a while with the people you love
Going out to a nice Italian dinner at Pulehu for my birthday |
Life is hard, we all need a little hope. We find it in our faith and beauty of the land and cultures we travel to. We have a big traveling experience coming up, stay tuned.
